20odd Off Days: Day 3 - Unbreaking A Mirror

One of the (several) mistakes in our early married life in an East Van rental was picking up a full length mirror, then putting a huge crack in it ON THE WAY TO THE CAR. Today we had a chance to redeem ourselves by picking up a full-length that stands on the floor, so it's not tied down to any one room. Smart thinking by design. Provided for a nice photo opp for the attached photo, and Dana tells me she FINALLY knows what her whole outfit looks like.

We have more news about redemption and smart design thinking but I'd rather save it for when the deal is done...

20odd Off Days: Day 1

I'm on baby-cation.
I have the good fortune of taking a bunch of days off to get some things together as a Dad. It's a special time. I hope and pray that I can be rested, and also be inspired & encouraged. Being a Dad has been surreal, I can't believe I am one. This past week I've felt like an older sibling stumbling around figuring out how to calm a baby down...

Pictured here: Sasha before we left the house today. She'll flash us a smile like this while she's playing on the floor, then go right back to doing some crazy baby thing, like taking that floor apart.

NOT pictured here: Sasha crying all the way thru our Toyota test drive today. Our saleswoman was really patient.
